A little history about Stonewood Designs...
Todd Szczechowski and Tracy Orth both have a passion for creating the best that we can. A combination of our diverse artistic styles and technical understanding, meld together to form functional knives to be used and admired.

After making countless bladed tools through out the years for wood carving and miscellaneous shop tasks and our fascination with knives we decided to dive into the world of custom knife making. All of our knife blades have a flat grind. Our high carbon tool steel knives WILL RUST if not taken care of. A quick wipe down after use and a drop of oil now and then will keep our knives looking just as old as when you receive them. We have now added CPM S35VN stainless steel to the list of knife steels we use. Our knives are individually handmade so no two knives are exactly alike. All of our heat treating is done in house using a digitally controlled kiln. All of our CPM S35VN knives receive a double cryo temper.
