This former USSR Military knife (this is the Тайга) was only issued to the elite Spetsnaz and Soviet Air Force Pilots. It is a total of 15 inches long with 9 3/4 inches of high carbon steel blade. It weighs about a pound and a half. This knife is loaded with features. The back of the blade has a saw blade, and the top edge is a digging edge so the knife can be used as a shovel. The top of the recurve of the main blade section has serrations that are meant for sawing bone. Also, the blade has a ruler and a protractor which goes 0 to 90 degrees. It has a Bakelite handle that unscrews with a storage compartment (which has a survival kit that contains fishing line, hooks, and matches).
It has the aftermarket Sovietski Collection sheath.
This machete has been sheathed and unsheathed but is unused. There are no scratches on the blade.

NAZ-7 Mig Survival Kit, dated 1991, includes winter issue folding snowshoes. Contained in parachute type bag, a sectionalized backpack of extensive survival gear. Backpack consists of two parts, one part contains two metal water containers, includes desalination kit. Water containers may be substituted with snowshoes, which fit in same compartments. The other part is a sectionalized "tray" of survival equipment. Appears to be mostly complete but some of the small metal boxes are empty, no ammunition. Survival radio and battery are replaced with a plastic box. Includes a 60 page survival manual along with its own special carrying pouch; both were heat sealed into a watertight clear plastic bag fastened to the inside of the bag. The clear plastic bag has been slit to allow access to the manual (which is in mint condition) but it could be resealed if desired by using almost any home heat sealing unit. Condition is excellent, very clean with minor storage age. Note 1, we have a limited number in stock, may be some minor differences. Note 2, this item is heavy, special shipping may apply. 写的多清楚，这是把特种部队和飞行员才配发的刀，碳钢材质全长38厘米刃长25厘米.有木锯，手柄中空，可以当做铲刀用，反曲的缺口被认为是骨锯、有量角器和尺子的功能

不过我觉得这货就是个斧刀.再无特殊意义、
早期丑瓜工具杂合刀的典型代表，基似乎为0的设计美感。其实就是个带锯的半吊子狗腿。把劈砍的功能各种优化协调后。就是狗腿了。

Bomber Pilot's Survival Machete Knife with original pouch, 1970s-80s. Heavy stainless steel blade has a serial number stamped on the flat upper edge. Comes with original pouch in heavy duty, durable nylon with Velcro closure and belt loop. The pouch is marked "Machete Knife" in Russian and shows quality inspection stamp. In excellent unissued condition. The factory sharpened blade is perfectly clean, completely free of pitting or rust. Note, the grip was carried separately and is not included. The pouch is likewise practic ally pristine, shows only storage age. This machete was standard equipment onboard Soviet Strategic Bombers since the 70s; reportedly only one was supplied per plane as opposed to the NAZ survival packs issued to every member of the crew. The same machete was also used by the Soviet cosmonauts stowed aboard Soyuz return modules as part of survival gear. These were never available outside military aviation or space program and were in fact illegal to regular Soviet citizens to carry or own.
